MIM #5 Distressing Edges

Papertrey Make it Mondays - Distressing Edges original post
I started out just playing with the new paper pad and my PTI dies. But then I saw the MIM #5 challenge and thought I could make it again using the distressing technique shown. I had fun mix-matching the papers. I used 4 peices of paper out of the pad and made 7 presents. I sewed the "ribbon" on the presents and the real ribbon on the bottom of the card.  I plan on making simular cards with the remaining presents to have in my stash and to put in my card gift bundles I give out each year.

With distressing.

Great job. Love those presents. I have those dies too but have never used them that is going to change now. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love your card! I've been wondering if I should order the die to make presents without ordering the stamp set. The answer is "yes!"

Btw, you asked me on my blog if I made the hedgehog pattern - I did! (Sorry I don't know how to answer you on my blog - I'm clueless) If you pm me (maybe on the PTI message boards) I could scan and send it to you. And also, Fox is a pretty snazzy name... almost as snazzy as Tiger - which is what my friends named their son last year.... lol.

I love the presents. I think the flower adds the perfect touch.

the card looks great and I really like the flower in the center of the bow.
